PURPOSE: To provide direction to team members in emergency situations including fire, severe weather, power outage, emergency or disaster evacuation including natural gas leak, medical emergency/serious accident, criminal activity, missing person(s), or transfer to an off-site shelter. The first consideration must be preventing injury and the second consideration is saving property.

Aspen Acres Assisted Living is committed to maintaining a safe environment for each resident, team member, and guest - all referred to as occupants in this document. All Aspen Acres Assisted Living team members shall be aware of and able to implement the plan for emergencies listed within this policy.
