Description
Eating well is important at any age but health issues and cognitive limitations make it difficult for seniors to get the nutrients they need for a balanced diet. This course will explore reasons why adults may not be getting the appropriate nutrients and how nutrition needs can be met.

- Describe appropriate nutrition for residents with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and high blood pressure.
- Review interventions to improve fluid and nutritional intake when caring for adults.
